Green Bay, the smallest market in the NFL, would be the perfect place to host a future draft, the Packers told shareholders during their annual meeting Thursday.
Packers president Mark Murphy said the organization has applied for the NFL Draft in 2019, 2020 or 2021, pitching Green Bay as an ideal location to celebrate the common football fan. The NFL Draft traditionally has been held in the league's largest markets like Chicago or New York City.

Murphy said the Packers also applied to be considered as a site for next year's draft, which has not yet been determined, but were told they weren't a contender.
