NORMAN — David Stone isn’t going anywhere after all.
The Sooners’ sophomore defensive lineman, who entered the transfer portal on Friday night, withdrew his name Sunday night, he announced.
The Del City native played in all 13 games as a true freshman, totaling six tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack in 2024.
Stone was a consensus five-star recruit and regarded as one of the best defensive line talents in the country out of IMG Academy.
“I feel like this year I made the jump as a player, being able to dominate this space, whether it's in life or football," Stone said during spring camp.
