CANTON, Ohio — In Northeast Ohio, few, if any, offensive linemen will ever measure up to Orlando Pace.
The anecdotal stories about Pace’s playing days at Sandusky High School are still whispered in Northeast Ohio with reverence. Imagine the 6-foot-7, 324-pounder terrorizing punt returners, two defensive linemen at a time or even playing basketball. Those stories will be re-told when the former Rams and Bears tackle is inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.
