Orlando City unveiled 49 rainbow-colored seats at its new stadium Wednesday, marking a touching tribute to the victims of the June shooting at Pulse nightclub.
The MLS side will kick off at its soccer-specific venue with a match against New York City FC on March 5, and the 25,500-seat stadium will feature a poignant reminder of the 49 people who died during the June 12 shooting in Orlando.
Orlando City previously honored the victims with a number of gestures during a match against the San Jose Earthquakes on June 18, including a stoppage of play in the 49th minute.
