The NFL's decision to send the Washington Redskins to London in 2016 is a decision that isn't sitting well with the Oneida Indian Nation.
Ray Halbritter, an Oneida Nation representative, said the league's decision to send the Redskins to London is "offensive" and will "promote an ugly racial epithet" worldwide.
"At a time when the United States is desperately trying to fortify its international relationships, the NFL has decided to go on the world stage and promote an ugly racial epithet slurring indigenous people all over the world," Halbritter said in a statement.
