Portugal got another goal from Cristiano Ronaldo and eliminated a game Morocco from the World Cup, 1-0, in Moscow on Wednesday.
Ronaldo, who had a hat trick in his opener against Spain, made it four in the fourth minute. Portugal took a tricky short corner, and Joao Moutinho quickly stepped up to send it into the box. Ronaldo was there for the header and the 1-0 lead.
For much of the rest of the game it seemed if someone would score, especially Morocco. The team, which had been unlucky to lose to Iran in its opener, played aggressive, attacking soccer but could not get a finishing touch.
