Simone Biles can make more Olympic history in the individual all-around final at the 2024 Paris Summer Games on Thursday if she can find her way to the top of the medal stand.
Only twice before — Larisa Latynina in 1956 and 1960, and Vu011bra u010cáslavská in 1964 and 1968 — has a woman won this event multiple times, and Biles can add her name to that list with a gold medal. She'd also become the first woman to win gold in the individual all-around eight years apart.
Team USA star Suni Lee could also etch her name in the Olympic record books.
