After sneaking into the men’s College World Series with the final at-large bid, Ole Miss is leaving Omaha with its first national championship.
The Rebels rallied to beat Oklahoma, 4-2, on Sunday at Charles Schwab Field, which gave them the 2-0 series win over the Sooners and the program's first national title.
Ole Miss, after trailing 2-1 in the seventh, rallied in the eighth after an RBI single from shortstop Jacob Gonzalez.
