Talented Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon's legal issues are not going away as it pertains to the 2014 incident in which Mixon was charged with hitting a female student in the face.
Mixon was suspended for the entire 2014 season by the school, served one year of probation, performed community service and underwent counseling as part of his plea deal for the misdemeanor assault charge. Now the victim in that incident has filed a complaint against Mixon in U.S. District Court seeking unspecified damages.
The complaint, filed Friday, alleges negligence, willful and wanton misconduct and intentional infliction of emotional distress, according to the Associated Press.
