CHICAGO — "Chopped" meets "Monday Night Football" — that's the drama unfolding this week after an unnamed scout criticized Ohio State cornerback Eli Apple on his inability to cook. But the Buckeyes cornerback defended himself Wednesday in Grant Park following an NFL Play 60 event.
"Somebody said I couldn’t cook?" Apple asked. "He’s never had anything I’ve cooked then. That is completely false. I was one of the best cooks on the team. I used to make breakfast all the time."
