The former N.B.A. star Lamar Odom, who was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel last week, is alert, and his condition is improving, his family said. Alvina Alston, the publicist for Odom’s aunt JaNean Mercer, said Odom was undergoing testing, but there was no word on when he might be released from the hospital.
