Nuggets' two-way guard Trey Alexander named G League Rookie of the Year

Denver Nuggets rookie Trey Alexander on Friday was named the 2024-25 NBA G League Rookie of the Year for his play with the Grand Rapids Gold, the league announced.

Alexander, signed to a two-way contract, averaged 25.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.7 steals in 30 games on 39.5% shooting from 3-point range. He ranked second in scoring among players with at least 15 appearances and fifth in field goals per game (9.1).

The undrafted standout from Creighton registered eight 30-point games, including a career-high 38 points, five rebounds and three assists on Jan.
