Novak Djokovic defeated Juan Martin del Potro 6-3, 7-6 (4), 6-3 on Sunday in the men's US Open final to claim his 14th Grand Slam title, tying him with Pete Sampras for third most all time.
It is Djokovic's third title at Flushing Meadows, and first since 2015. He lost in the final to Stan Wawrinka in 2016 and then missed last year's tournament while recovering from an elbow injury.
The victory comes on the heels of Djokovic's win at Wimbledon, where he defeated Kevin Anderson, also in straight sets.
