WIMBLEDON, England — Top-seeded Novak Djokovic completed a rally from two-sets-to-none deficit, defeating Kevin Anderson, 6-7 (6), 6-7 (6), 6-1, 6-4, 7-5, in the fourth round at Wimbledon on Tuesday.
The match was suspended by darkness on Court 1 Monday night, tied at two sets each, setting up a winner-take-all set Tuesday afternoon. Shortly after the players walked out to resume the match, it began to rain, delaying the ending another half-hour.
Anderson, a South African seeded 14th, won the first two sets behind his overpowering serve. But Djokovic, the defending champion, took control of the match in the next two sets before Anderson got an overnight respite.
