Novak Djokovic retired from his Wimbledon quarterfinal match Wednesday against Tomas Berdych with an injury.
Djokovic had received medical treatment during the match. The trainer worked on his shoulder.
Djokovic lost the first set 7-6 and was trailing in the second 2-0 when he retired.
He bowed out in the third round last year to American Sam Querrey, who beat Andy Murray on Wednesday to make the semifinals.
