Notre Dame cornerback Devin Butler attacked a police officer outside a bar in South Bend, Ind., forcing officers to use a stun gun to subdue the football player, according to a probable cause affidavit cited by the Associated Press.
Butler — along with five other football players — was arrested and jailed after the altercation on Saturday evening. The incident occurred after marijuana and a loaded handgun was found in their car during a traffic stop.
