Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman is in no rush to name next year's starting quarterback.
The Fighting Irish coach said that when there's a clear starter, the team will name one, and he's not sure when that will be.
That could interpreted in both good ways and bad by Notre Dame fans. The positive interpretation is that the potential starting QBs -- Steve Angeli, CJ Carr and Kenny Minchey are considered the top contenders, though Anthony Rezac and Blake Hebert can't be ruled out -- are all playing equally well and forcing the coaches to make a tough choice.
