GLENDALE, Ariz. -- North Carolina finally had one of those possessions, the kind it had all season long, the kind that made it such a potent offensive force in its first 39 games -- and Roy Williams had never looked more upset.
After Theo Pinson grabbed the Heels' second offensive rebound of the trip, and earned a foul on the way back up, Williams pumped his fist, wheeled 180 degrees, ripped off his glasses, and caromed down the steps from the elevated floor to his team's bench, where he laid into the nearby players for several minutes.
