Noble boys basketball player Jamier Rose named Gatorade Player of the Year

Noble senior Jamier Rose was named the Gatorade Maine Boys Basketball Player of the Year for the 2024-25 season on Friday.

Rose, who early this month was named Mr. Maine Basketball and won the Fitzpatrick Trophy as the top senior football player in the state in the fall, led Noble to an 18-3 record this season and a berth in the Class A South final.

A 5-foot-10 guard, Rose averaged 19.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 5.1 steals per game.

“Every team he plays knows he is the best player and he still finds a way to impact and dominate games,” Sanford coach Jake Mills said in a press release.
