'No structural damage' to Salvador Perez's knee after collision, Ned Yost says

The Royals received good news Saturday after they rallied to beat the Chicago White Sox when they learned catcher Salvador Perez avoided major injury.

Perez was involved in a collision with teammate Cheslor Cuthbert as the two pursued an infield pop up in the ninth inning. Perez rolled around in agony, immediately signaling for a trainer, and needed to be helped off the field. A major knee injury was feared.
