Apparently there will be official repercussion regarding Kurt Busch and Kevin Harvick. Like Vegas, what happens with Stewart-Haas Racing teammates stays with Stewart-Haas Racing teammates.
Neither were there further problems for Martin Truex Jr., whose Sunday at Talladega began with a parts confiscation and ended with the destroyed engine. Elimination from the Chase for the Sprint Cup is sufficient.
That doesn't mean there wasn't the expected Wednesday list of penalties from Talladega. There was, and initial reports indicated there was nothing major nor anything involving drivers preparing for the Chase's Round of 8.
Next in the championship series is Martinsville, the legendary half-mile track where the first Round of 8 race will be staged on Sunday.
