The Lady Longhorns are headed to the Elite Eight. The Texas women's basketball team held off a stubborn Tennessee Volunteers team, 67-59. All-American Madison Booker lead UT in scoring with 17 points.
The top-seeded Longhorns actually trailed the Vols 54-52 with 7:29 left in the game. But a Bryanna Preston layup and two straight baskets by Booker gave the Horns a 58-54 lead that Texas would never relinquish.

It was Texas' stifling defense that led to the victory. The Vols only scored five points in the final seven minutes of the ballgame.
