This is the week that Alabama and Tennessee have had circled on their calendar all year: the Third Saturday in October.
The 9th-ranked Volunteers are surely disappointed they weren’t able to come into this game undefeated after last week’s loss to Texas A&M, but that doesn’t take away the importance of this game. A win over top-ranked Alabama would put the Vols squarely in the lead of the SEC East Division, and would end a decade’s worth of misery.
Alabama, meanwhile, is looking to continue its undefeated streak for as long as possible. Tennessee is like the Tide's likely toughest test of the season thus far, and you can bet Neyland Stadium will be raucous.
