MAE SAI, Thailand -- Thai navy SEALs say a ninth boy has been rescued Tuesday from a flooded cave as divers carry out what they hope is a final mission to save the remaining boys and their soccer coach after more than two weeks.
The SEALs said on their Facebook page that "the 9th Wild Boar was out of the cave at 4:06 p.m." Tuesday, referring to the name of the trapped boys' soccer team.
About six hours after the operation began around 10 a.m. local time (11 p.m. ET), an ambulance was seen leaving the site of the Thai cave.
