NHRA New England Nationals ladder charts

Graham Rahal comfortably cruised to a six-plus second victory of Scott Dixon in Saturday’s Detroit Grand Prix.

In fact, Rahal had such a comfortable lead that he messed around with his push-to-pass system as he dominated the field.

“I pressed it a couple times just for kicks,” Rahal said in post-race with a grin on his face.

Rahal started the race from the pole and lead a career-high 55 of 70 laps.

“I never felt that confident in my career,” Rahal said after his fifth career victory and fourth in two-plus years. “If everything went well, I knew we were going to be hard to beat.
