The Sabres have lost six of their last seven games, the Canucks have lost four of five, the Ducks have come down to Earth and, slowly, the magic has seeped away from October’s surprise teams. At the same time, the Lightning are waking up, the Stars have climbed out of a massive hole and the Sharks are (maybe) finding its way on offense.
