Great news for fans of the Denver Broncos' throwback uniform: we could see it more often going forward.
Last season, the Broncos wore their throwbacks twice and their alternate uniform once as the NFL allowed three total games of either a throwback or alternate design. At the Annual League Meeting in Florida this week, the uniform rules were changed to now allow teams to wear an alternate or throwback up to four times per season.
"I don’t know if you guys heard, but we just refreshed the policy, and so now we’ll be able to wear alternate uniforms four times during the regular season," team president Damani Leech announced Monday.
