The Redskins were hit hard by injuries in Sunday’s game against the Giants.
Defensive back DeAngelo Hall sprained his right knee in the first half and was ruled out for the game. Cornerback Bashaud Breeland injured his ankle and was also ruled out. Two starting offensive linemen—left guard Shawn Lauvao and center Kory Lichtensteiger—also had their days end early.
The only good news on the injury front for Washington was that DeSean Jackson, who hurt his knee and ankle in the first half, was able to return to the game at the start of the second half.
