The Miami Dolphins remain committed to Tua Tagovailoa.
Miami and the quarterback agreed to a new four-year, $212.4 million contract on Friday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo. The deal includes $167.1 million guaranteed.
This comes after ESPN's Adam Schefter reported in March 2023 the AFC East team elected to pick up the quarterback's fifth-year option and guarantee him $23.4 million in salary for 2024. Schefter called it "the ultimate sign that they don't have any plans to sign any high-priced quarterbacks this offseason. Tua is their man.
