The Baltimore Ravens have gained some cap space flexibility ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Ravens have done a simple restructure of linebacker Roquan Smith's contract, creating $4.875 million in cap space.
Smith, who signed an extension ahead of the 2023 season, is entering the second year of a five-year, $100 million deal. He was set to earn a base salary of $6 million with a cap hit of $13.5 million before the restructure.
