Former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh reportedly has a contract offer to become the NFL's highest-paid defensive coordinator from the San Francisco 49ers, per The Athletic's Matt Barrows.
That news was reported Friday on the latest edition of The TK Show with Tim Kawakami of The Athletic (3:30 mark).
"I think it's become obvious now that it's Saleh or bust really, because they haven't done much work with anybody else to this point," Barrows said.
"And I've already heard that they've told Saleh, you know, 'We will make you the highest-paid defensive coordinator in all the land if you sign with us.
