If the Las Vegas Raiders don't come out of the first round of the 2024 NFL draft with a quarterback, they might be comfortable going into the season with the group they already have.
Per The Athletic's Mike Jones, the Raiders "like" Aidan O'Connell and anticipate a "close competition" if he's vying for the starting job with Gardner Minshew II.
Minshew signed a two-year, $25 million deal with the Raiders in free agency. The value of the contract, which includes $15 million guaranteed, at least suggests they view him as a potential bridge starter until they find a long-term answer at the position.
