The New York Giants reportedly did not delve deep into the Josh Jacobs sweepstakes.
Jacobs told Dan Pompei of The Athletic that the Giants had offered him more money than he ultimately accepted but that he was turned off by the New York lifestyle. However, Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post reported that the Giants never officially made Jacobs an offer.
Dunleavy is referencing an official offer, so Jacobs could have turned the team away before any true offer came of light. He would elect to sign a four-year, $48 million deal with the Green Bay Packers.
