All signs are reportedly pointing toward Matthew Stafford still being under center for the Los Angeles Rams during the 2025 season.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that the 37-year-old "intends to play … with his arm and body feeling good after a solid season that saw him lead the Rams to the playoffs."
What's more, "the Rams would welcome him back."
However, the contract may be something both sides have to work through before he takes the field.
Pelissero and Rapoport explained it is "unlikely that Stafford would play for just $27 million in 2025 after playing for $40 million last year.
