Tight end Logan Thomas is reportedly staying in the NFC.
ESPN's Nick Wagoner reported Monday that Thomas and the San Francisco 49ers agreed to a one-year deal. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo initially reported the two sides were "working to finalize a deal."
Thomas played the last four seasons on the Washington Commanders and has previous stops with the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions. He actually entered the league as a quarterback out of Virginia Tech.
Arizona selected him with a fourth-round pick in the 2014 draft, but he never established himself as a signal-caller at the sport's highest level.
