NFL Rumors: Jimmy Garoppolo, Raiders Expected to Part Ways After PED Suspension

Jimmy Garoppolo's time with the Silver and Black appears to be coming to an end.

The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to release the veteran quarterback before the fifth day of the new league year in mid-March, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He would earn an $11.25 million bonus if he were still on the roster at that point.

The news comes after Schefter reported Friday that the NFL is suspending Garoppolo two games for violating the league's performance enhancing substance policy for "using a prescribed medication without having a valid Therapeutic Use Exemption.
