The New York Jets reportedly regret the huge contract they handed to cornerback Trumaine Johnson last offseason.
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Jets have "massive buyer's remorse" when it comes to the five-year, $72.5 million deal Johnson inked with them. New York does have an out in the deal that will result in $8 million in dead salary-cap money if it parts ways with Johnson after the 2020 season, however.
