Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff appears set to cash in this offseason.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported on NFL GameDay that the Detroit Lions are prepared to discuss contract extensions with Goff in the offseason and this could result in him shooting up the highest-paid player rankings.

"The Detroit Lions never considered him to be a bridge quarterback, always thought he would be the franchise guy," Rapoport said.
