The Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott are still expected to negotiate over a contract extension, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport referenced Prescott's sizable $61.9 million salary cap hit for 2024, which provides the Cowboys with a clear incentive to work out a new deal now.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN had reported Monday the two sides "are expected to convene at some point and talk for a while."
"The Cowboys know how hard it is to get a good quarterback and Prescott is largely considered a top-10 passer in this league," Fowler said.
