Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore was lucky to walk off the field, let alone finish Sunday's wild-card matchup with the Steelers after a vicious hit to the head courtesy of Pittsburgh linebacker Bud Dupree in the second quarter at Heinz Field.
But should Moore have been allowed to re-enter the game after just one play?
The NFL announced Monday it will review relevant documents, video, and interview the involved parties to determine whether the league's concussion protocol was followed properly following the hit. The NFLPA also said it is looking into the matter.
Dupree destroyed Moore with a helmet hit to the chin that kept the signal caller on the ground for several minutes before he was helped off the field.
