NFL ref's tough day highlighted by accidental profanity

Pete Morelli has been officiating games in the NFL since 1997, but he had some rookie moments in Sunday's game between the Bills and Patriots.

Perhaps the worst offense was when he left his microphone on and cursed to everyone in attendance at Gillette Stadium. After one official said to him, "Slowly turning into a good game," Morelli responded by saying, "But one big hit and some s--- could happen."

Luckily for the league, the moment was not caught on television because the game was at a timeout.
