This is the third time this season that I’ve had to endure the nightmare that is compiling power rankings, and I’ve already said my piece about the absurd nature of this exercise and those who fill their diapers as a response to it. So rather than devote and more time and effort to an intro section no one will read anyway, two reminders: (1) Win-loss records and playoff results are what actually matter when it comes to determining the season champion so there’s no need to shed tears over these rankings, and (2) chances are, your favorite team is not and was not as good as you thought it was.
