NFL players take another punch with court loss in concussion suit

Back in November, we pointed out how the players, who want the NFL to do better in its settlement offer in the class-action concussion lawsuit, are reduced to begging for their lives. Literally. That’s what was at stake.

Those players got silenced Monday by yet another level of the federal court system. It’s one more punch to the gut in a rotten year for those demanding accountability from the business that continually puts them at risk.

The admission by NFL senior vice president Jeff Miller in front of members of Congress — that the link between football and CTE is real — was barely a month ago.
