New York (AFP) - National Football League owners on Wednesday voted to extend the league's successful international series through to 2025 with an option to stage games outside London's Wembley Stadium.
The NFL owners took the decision at the annual autumn meeting, where other key issues -- such as the relocation of a franchise to Los Angeles -- were also to be discussed.
The NFL has staged games in London since 2007, with the most recent match Sunday's 83,986 sellout between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.
