LONDON — London mayor Sadiq Khan has publicly expressed confidence that the NFL will play four regular-season games here in 2018.
However, that is hardly a sure thing, according to the NFL’s executive vice president of international Mark Waller.

"(Khan) definitely asked the commissioner for four games," Mark Waller told Sporting News on Monday in an exclusive interview. “We’re not there yet and, to be honest, we’re not there from an inventory standpoint. We’re working on it."
Waller pointed to a list of challenges the NFL faces in trying to add another contest to the three-game London slate being played this year.
