Renowned professor and sociologist Dr. Harry Edwards, who's reportedly advising Colin Kaepernick amid the quarterback's search for an NFL contract, told USA Today he was contacted recently by three teams wondering whether Kaepernick still wants to play football:
“They’ve asked, ‘Can he play? Does he want to play?’ “ Edwards said. “The last question I can’t answer. The first question, absolutely. If Kaep makes up his mind, he wouldn’t only go in and make a team, he’d put pressure on somebody to start.”
While reaching out to one of Kaepernick's advisors might make sense on the surface, Shannon Sharpe has his questions.
