The New Orleans Saints appear to be Mike McCarthy's only potential head coaching landing spot at this point after the Chicago Bears agreed to terms with ex-Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson on Monday.
The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported the latest on the Scoop City podcast (2:45 mark):
"Yeah, I think this would be it for Mike McCarthy," Russini reported when co-host and ex-NFL quarterback Chase Daniel asked if New Orleans would be the "only landing spot" left for the ex-Dallas Cowboys head coach.
