Mike McCarthy will not only be coaching out the last season of his contract in 2024, he'll also reportedly be doing so with Bill Belichick staring in his rearview mirror.
Dan Graziano of ESPN reported McCarthy will face "whispers" about Belichick with every loss next season.
Belichick and the New England Patriots parted ways after 24 seasons last month, and the legendary coach did not land another job. The future Hall of Famer only interviewed with the Atlanta Falcons and is expected to be patiently waiting for an offer—if he even wants to coach again.
