NFL Exec: Giants 'Burning Through' Super Bowl 'Credibility' After Daniel Jones Drama

The New York Giants lost their sixth straight game on Sunday, this time without former starting quarterback Daniel Jones.

When discussing the differences between the Giants and the New York Jets at 3-8, an opposing coach only brought up the team's Super Bowl victories during the 2007 and 2011 seasons.

"The difference is, the Giants have won championships and have done so most recently (2007, 2011), so they have the most credibility capital to burn," the coach told Mike Sando of The Athletic. "That is all. They are burning through it."

Jones was benched by New York before meeting with team president John Mara and requesting to be released by the team.
