NFL Exec: 'Don't Think Robert Kraft Wants to Be Jerry Jones' amid Cowboys, Pats Buzz

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has had an undeniable role in the wild success the franchise has had in his ownership tenure. Despite this, he doesn't appear to desire more control in the future.

The Patriots parted ways with long-time head coach Bill Belichick last week and installed Jerod Mayo as the next head coach. This was the first coaching change for the franchise in the 21st century and just the third in Kraft's tenure as owner.

While this opens up the opportunity for Kraft to be a more hands-on owner than he had been during the glory years of the Patriots dynasty, Mike Sando of The Athletic reported that is not the direction Kraft desires to go in.
